Introduction
This document outlines SecureHIT’s Real World Testing (RWT) Plan for 2026, designed to validate system performance, mitigate risks, and ensure compliance in real-world clinical environments. Testing will focus on interoperability, security, and usability with DirectTrust-accredited HISPs.

Objectives
-
Validate System Performance
-
Verify SecureHIT meets performance benchmarks under realistic conditions (e.g., message delivery, response times).
-
-
Identify & Mitigate Risks
-
Proactively uncover vulnerabilities not detected in controlled environments.
-
-
Ensure Compliance
-
Confirm adherence to:
-
ONC §170.315(h)(2) (Interoperability)
-
DirectTrust accreditation standards
-
-
Measures
Our testing program tracks five critical metrics: (1) Test Participation Rate (target: 100% of HISPs, sourced from DirectTrust member lists, measured annually each April); (2) Message Delivery Rate (target: 100% success, verified through Greenlight Testing logs, per test cycle); (3) Response Time (target: ≤24 hours, tracked via message timestamps, per message); (4) Data Integrity (target: 0 errors, validated through digital signatures, per message); and (5) Issue Resolution Time (target: ≤3 business days, monitored via our ticketing system, as needed). These metrics ensure comprehensive validation of our system's real-world performance.

Conclusion
The SecureHIT Real World Testing Plan 2026 ensures the robust performance and reliability of our system. Through a systematic approach to testing and continuous feedback, we aim to deliver a superior product that meets the needs of our users and adheres to the highest standards of quality and security.
